Post 8: English Language Challenges
My self-criticism about learning English at university is my self-criticism about learning English at university is my missed opportunity of the knowledge that my teachers used to teach me English. I know I could have learned more, and that's I regret.
I believe that teachers are willing to teach us in the best way, always worried about not overloading ourselves with homework, it is something that I appreciate a lot.
Teachers use a variety of techniques to learn, speak, read, and listen but due to the national health crisis and the online classes, I did not learn as much English as I would like. I don't practicing in class and forcing myself to speak as I did when I went to face to face classes. my great difficulties speaking English is the speed with which I redact sentences. I can understand of what I read or hear in English but when I talking I'm nervous and my grammar and words get confused me.
I believe that in the summer, I will study the grammar rules and vocabulary, to be able to speak with my father and my boyfriend in English, since they know speak it. If I want to go on an exchange next semester, I have to know how to speak English.
I think that the use of blogs to learn English is a good way to get to know each other because to the online classes its doesn't allow us to get to know each other as well. But I can't deny that it's one of the jobs that I always leave for last.
I think I have always looked for different ways to learn English, such as having a cell phone in English or configuring programs to work architecture in English. Getting used to the language is a complementary way of learning to think in English.
